Golf in Berkeley

Berkeley is a city in Alameda County on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, north of Oakland. The city is home to the University of California, Berkeley, one of the largest research universities in the country and the defining institution of the city's identity. The Berkeley Hills rise steeply east of the flat bay-facing portions of the city, and the campus occupies the base of the hills with residential neighborhoods extending both toward the bay and up into the hillside terrain. The city has a dense, walkable commercial core on Telegraph Avenue, University Avenue, and other arterials. Berkeley is served by BART and AC Transit bus, providing transit connections to San Francisco and the East Bay.
