Golf in Montalvin Manor

Montalvin Manor is an unincorporated community in western Contra Costa County, north of Richmond and east of San Pablo Bay. The community occupies flat terrain in the northwestern corner of Contra Costa County, in a zone of residential and some industrial land uses adjacent to the bay. Contra Costa County's western communities, including Montalvin Manor and the North Richmond area, have a character shaped by proximity to the Richmond industrial corridor and the bay. The community is primarily residential with limited commercial services, and residents typically travel to Richmond or San Pablo for most needs. San Pablo Avenue and local roads provide the main connections through the area. The bay flatland terrain in this portion of Contra Costa County has a mix of residential development and industrial land developed during the mid-twentieth century.
