Golf in El Cerrito

El Cerrito is a city in Contra Costa County on the eastern shore of San Francisco Bay, north of Berkeley and south of Richmond. The city occupies flat bay-facing terrain and the lower slopes of the Berkeley Hills, in the northern East Bay urban corridor. Contra Costa County's west-facing cities near the bay have a mix of residential and light commercial character. El Cerrito has two BART stations at Del Norte and El Cerrito Plaza, making it one of the better-served communities for transit in the East Bay. The city has a compact commercial area along San Pablo Avenue and a mix of single-family and multifamily residential neighborhoods. San Pablo Reservoir and Wildcat Canyon Regional Park are accessible in the hills to the east. El Cerrito has a relatively compact area and dense suburban character for a Contra Costa County city.
