Golf in Big Bear Lake

Big Bear Lake is a city in San Bernardino County in the San Bernardino Mountains at roughly 6,700 feet elevation, in the mountains above the Inland Empire. The city is centered on Big Bear Lake, a reservoir used for water storage and recreation. San Bernardino County's mountain communities, including Big Bear Lake and Big Bear City, draw visitors from the Inland Empire and Los Angeles Basin for summer water recreation and winter skiing. The city has a resort-oriented commercial corridor along Big Bear Boulevard, with lodging, dining, and outdoor equipment businesses. State Route 18 and State Route 38 provide the main highway connections, with State Route 18 running along the lake's north shore. Snow Summit and Bear Mountain ski areas are on the south side of the lake.
