Golf in Yucaipa

Yucaipa is a city in San Bernardino County in the eastern Inland Empire, east of Redlands in the Yucaipa Valley. The city occupies foothill terrain at roughly 2,600 feet elevation at the base of the San Bernardino Mountains, in a valley that transitions from the flat Inland Empire floor to the mountain front. San Bernardino County's eastern foothill cities, including Yucaipa and Calimesa, have a residential character with some remaining agricultural land at lower elevations. Crafton Hills College is in Yucaipa and provides community college education for the area. The city has grown in recent decades with residential development in the valley and lower foothill terrain. State Route 38 passes through the city and continues northeast into the San Bernardino Mountains toward Big Bear Lake. Interstate 10 is accessible to the west via Redlands.
