Boulder Creek has 1 golf course — 1 public.
Boulder Creek is a small community in Santa Cruz County in the Santa Cruz Mountains, at roughly 600 feet elevation in the redwood forests of the upper San Lorenzo Valley. The community sits in a steep river valley where the San Lorenzo River runs through the mountains toward the Pacific. Santa Cruz County's mountain communities are in a zone of dense redwood and Douglas fir forest that differs substantially from the coastal communities to the west. The community has a small commercial downtown along State Route 9 and serves as a supply point for residents spread through the surrounding mountain terrain. Boulder Creek is accessible via State Route 9 from Santa Cruz to the south and from Saratoga in Santa Clara County to the north, making it part of a route connecting the Bay Area to the coast. The community draws artists, outdoor-oriented residents, and some commuters to the Silicon Valley.
