Golf in Huntington Beach

Huntington Beach is a city in Orange County on the Pacific coast, one of the larger coastal cities in Southern California. The city is positioned along a long stretch of public beach in central Orange County, where the Santa Ana River empties into the Pacific. Huntington City Beach and Huntington State Beach together provide an extensive public beach along the city's ocean frontage. The city has a commercial pier and downtown district on Main Street adjacent to the beach. The local economy includes tourism, retail, and petroleum extraction from offshore platforms. Pacific Coast Highway runs through the city as the main coastal highway. The city hosts the US Open of Surfing annually on the city beach. The waterway at Huntington Harbour in the northern portion of the city provides additional boating access.
