Golf in Deer Park

Deer Park is a small community in Napa County on the slopes of the Howell Mountain and Spring Mountain ranges northeast of St. Helena. The area occupies steep mountain terrain above the Napa Valley floor, where wine grapes are grown on elevated terraces and natural areas dominate much of the land. Napa County's mountain communities, including Deer Park, sit in the wooded terrain above the valley floor and share the same wine country geography. The community is primarily residential with very limited commercial services, and residents typically use St. Helena for most needs. The surrounding landscape transitions from oak woodland at lower elevations to mixed forest as the terrain rises into the Mayacamas and Vaca mountain ranges that flank the Napa Valley. Deer Park is accessible from State Route 29 and local mountain roads into the eastern hills.
