Golf in Farmington

Farmington is a small unincorporated community in San Joaquin County in the Central Valley, southeast of Stockton in the agricultural interior of the county. The community occupies flat valley terrain where irrigated agriculture supports orchards, vineyards, and field crops. San Joaquin County's eastern agricultural communities, including Farmington, are in the lower-elevation portion of the county, with the Sierra Nevada foothills beginning a few miles to the east. The community has limited commercial services and is primarily residential, with residents traveling to Stockton or nearby Lodi and Manteca for most needs. Local county roads and State Route 120 provide access to the regional highway network. The surrounding land is agricultural in character, with tree crops and row crops making up most of the landscape in the growing season.
