Golf in Long Beach

Long Beach is a city in Los Angeles County on the Pacific coast, the second-largest city in the county. The city occupies the southeastern corner of Los Angeles County, with a substantial deepwater port that is part of the San Pedro Bay port complex. The Port of Long Beach handles a large portion of the nation's container cargo as part of the combined port complex with the Port of Los Angeles. The city has a downtown near the harbor with the Queen Mary museum ship, the Aquarium of the Pacific, and a growing residential and commercial district. The Metro Blue Line connects Long Beach to downtown Los Angeles. Cal State Long Beach provides higher education. The city has a diverse and substantial population.
