Golf in Lincoln

Lincoln is a city in Placer County in the western Sierra Nevada foothills, northwest of Roseville and northeast of Sacramento. The city has grown substantially in recent decades, driven partly by the Sun City Lincoln Hills retirement community and related development that brought significant new residential growth. Placer County's western foothill communities, including Lincoln, have expanded as the Sacramento metropolitan area's suburban reach has extended northward and eastward. The local economy includes retail, services, and manufacturing operations alongside the residential base. The city sits at a foothill elevation with the flat Sacramento Valley visible to the west and the foothills rising more sharply to the east. State Route 193 and Lincoln Boulevard provide local road connections, with access to Interstate 80 via nearby communities.
