Golf in Antelope

Antelope is an unincorporated community in Sacramento County in the northern Sacramento suburban area, north of Citrus Heights along Antelope Road. The community occupies flat terrain on the Sacramento Valley floor, in the zone where the Sacramento urban core transitions to the suburban communities of the northern county. Sacramento County's northern communities, including Antelope, developed as residential areas in the postwar decades and grew substantially in the 1980s and 1990s. The community is primarily residential with commercial corridors along major arterials. Antelope is served by Sacramento Regional Transit and is connected to the regional highway network via Interstate 80 to the south and US Highway 50 to the east. Roseville in Placer County is adjacent to the north and provides additional commercial services. The community functions as part of the extended Sacramento suburban belt.
