Golf in San Juan Capistrano

San Juan Capistrano is a city in Orange County between Laguna Niguel and San Clemente in the south county area. The city is the location of Mission San Juan Capistrano, one of the early Alta California missions, and the mission grounds and museum are a significant visitor attraction. Orange County's south county communities include San Juan Capistrano as one of the older cities in the county, with a traditional downtown along Del Obispo Street and Ortega Highway. The train station on the Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner line is in the downtown area. The Saddleback Mountains rise to the east, and Ortega Highway connects San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore in Riverside County. The city has an equestrian community in the surrounding hills.
