Golf in Kaiminani

Kaiminani is a community in the South Kohala district of the Big Island, positioned in the upland zone above the coastal resort corridor between Waikoloa and Puako where Nanea Golf Club occupies private residential territory on the volcanic plateau. The South Kohala landscape—characterized by ancient lava flows, historically significant petroglyph fields, and the dramatic contrast between the volcanic black terrain and the blue Pacific below—defines the visual environment of the private residential communities that have developed in this part of the Big Island. Nanea Golf Club's Tom Fazio design serves a membership that chose the Big Island's volcanic upland for its combination of privacy, natural beauty, and proximity to the South Kohala resort amenities.
