Golf in Waikoloa Village

Waikoloa Village is a residential community in the upland zone above the South Kohala coast resort corridor, occupying terrain at higher elevation than the oceanside resort properties of the Mauna Lani and Waikoloa Beach Resort areas below. The village serves as a residential base for many of the workers who staff the South Kohala resorts and the broader Kohala Coast service economy, providing more affordable housing than the resort properties can offer. Waikoloa Village Golf Club, a Robert Trent Jones Jr. design, serves the resident community with views of the coast below, the Pacific, and the volcanic peaks of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa that define the Big Island's interior skyline.
