Golf in Auburn

Auburn is the larger of the Lewiston-Auburn twin cities, straddling the Androscoggin River in Androscoggin County. Once a major shoe-manufacturing center whose factories ran on river power and immigrant labor, Auburn today is home to a mix of light industry, retail, and residential neighborhoods spread across rolling terrain above the river. The city anchors the western end of Androscoggin County and serves as a gateway to the Oxford Hills and Sebago Lake region.
