Golf in Ayden

Ayden is a small town in Pitt County, in the NC Coastal Plain south of Greenville. The town sits in the flat agricultural landscape of the Tar-Pamlico River drainage in eastern North Carolina, known locally for its tobacco culture and for the Skylight Inn barbecue tradition. Pitt County is anchored by Greenville and East Carolina University, and Ayden is among the smaller communities in the county's southern portion, along the U.S. 11 corridor between Kinston and Greenville.
