Golf in Corolla
1 golf course in Corolla, North Carolina.
Corolla is an unincorporated community in northern Currituck County, on the northern Outer Banks accessible only by driving north along the beach from the end of NC 12. The community is known for the wild horses that roam the beach north of Corolla — descendants of Spanish Colonial horses that arrived on the Outer Banks centuries ago. Currituck County's northern Outer Banks around Corolla have developed primarily as a vacation home and rental property destination, given their remoteness from paved road access. The Currituck Beach Lighthouse, built in 1875, is the most prominent landmark in the Corolla area.
