Golf in Southern Shores

Southern Shores is a small residential town in Dare County, on the northern Outer Banks between Kitty Hawk and Duck. The town is the quieter neighbor to the Kitty Hawk-Kill Devil Hills resort zone to the south and the upscale Duck community to the north, primarily a residential beach community in the northern Outer Banks. Dare County's northern barrier island is more accessible than the Hatteras Island segment given the Wright Memorial and Currituck bridges, and Southern Shores is part of the northern Outer Banks development corridor.
