Golf in Spring Creek

Spring Creek is a large unincorporated community in Elko County that functions as a residential extension of the city of Elko several miles to the north. The community sits in the foothills below the Ruby Mountains — one of Nevada's most dramatic ranges, with the Ruby Mountain Wilderness reaching elevations above 11,000 feet. Spring Creek Golf Course at par 71 operates through the Spring Creek Association and gives the community an 18-hole facility within easy driving distance of the range that defines the area's visual identity. The elevation here — roughly 5,500 feet — keeps summer temperatures agreeable and extends playable conditions well into September.
