Golf in Blanco

Blanco is the county seat of Blanco County in the Texas Hill Country, a small community on the Blanco River known for its courthouse and its connection to the spring-fed waters of the central plateau. The community is in the cedar, live oak, and limestone country of the central Hill Country, east of Fredericksburg and south of Johnson City in the heart of the Edwards Plateau. The Blanco River is one of the clear spring-fed streams of the Hill Country, and Blanco State Park provides swimming access at a low-water dam. The town was also briefly the county seat of Hays County before being superseded by San Marcos. The community serves the small farming and ranching population of Blanco County and is a growing destination for Hill Country tourism. One course serves this Hill Country community.
