Golf in Danbury

Danbury is a small community in southeastern Brazoria County on the Gulf Coast prairie south of Houston, in the flat coastal terrain near the Austin Bayou drainage. The community is in the agricultural and suburban fringe of the greater Houston area, in Brazoria County's interior away from the main Brazos River corridor. Brazoria County has a mix of petrochemical industry along the Gulf Coast and agricultural land inland, with rice farming and cattle ranching dominant in this part of the county. The flat terrain of the Gulf Coast prairie has bottomland woods along the bayous and open agricultural land on the uplands. Angleton is the county seat of Brazoria County and the main commercial center for the area. One course serves this small community in the flat coastal prairie terrain.
