Golf in Friendswood

Friendswood is a city in southeastern Harris County near the Johnson Space Center and Clear Lake, a community with Quaker roots—it was settled by Quakers in the late nineteenth century and an early Quaker meeting house is preserved in the community. The city has grown as part of the Clear Lake-NASA corridor between Houston and Galveston, with a well-regarded school system and a long-standing residential character. The Johnson Space Center at Clear Lake, approximately five miles to the north, is the center of NASA's human spaceflight operations and is a significant employer in the area. The flat coastal plain of southeastern Harris County has the bayou drainage characteristic of the Houston area. One course serves the Friendswood community.
