Golf in League City

League City is a fast-growing city in northern Galveston County near the Johnson Space Center and Clear Lake, a community that has become one of the larger cities in the greater Houston area. The proximity to NASA's Johnson Space Center and the Clear Lake employment corridor has driven significant residential growth, and the city has a substantial aerospace and engineering professional population. Galveston Bay provides boating and fishing access, and Clear Lake connects the inland residential communities to the bay. The flat coastal plain terrain of northern Galveston County transitions between the suburban Houston area and the Gulf Coast communities to the south. The city has grown rapidly along the I-45 Gulf Freeway corridor and the FM 518 and FM 2094 secondary routes. League City is approximately 25 miles southeast of downtown Houston. Two courses serve the League City community in the flat coastal plain terrain of Galveston County.
