Golf in El Paso

El Paso is the county seat of El Paso County at the far western tip of Texas, a major border city on the Rio Grande across from Ciudad Juárez, Mexico, together forming one of the largest binational metropolitan areas in the world. The Franklin Mountains bisect the city, separating the Upper Valley on the northwest from the main city and the Lower Valley to the east, and Franklin Mountains State Park within the city limits is one of the largest urban state parks in the United States. The military presence includes Fort Bliss and its associated training ranges, one of the largest military installations in the country by area.
