Golf in Prado Verde

Prado Verde is a community in the upper Rio Grande valley section of El Paso County, northwest of downtown El Paso in the agricultural and residential corridor along the river. The upper valley communities of El Paso County have a distinct character from the main El Paso urban area, with a mix of pecan groves, agricultural land, and residential development on the flat Rio Grande floodplain. The Rio Grande at this point forms the international border with the Mexican state of Chihuahua, and the upper valley is an area of shared environmental and agricultural heritage between the two countries. The terrain is flat floodplain at roughly 3,700 feet elevation in the Chihuahuan Desert basin, with the Franklin Mountains providing the backdrop to the east. One course serves this upper Rio Grande valley community in the agricultural terrain of northwest El Paso County.
