Golf in Fort Bliss

Fort Bliss is one of the largest military installations in the Army, spanning El Paso County in Texas and Doña Ana County in New Mexico across the state line. The installation is home to the 1st Armored Division and a major center for Army air defense artillery training, with extensive training ranges in the Chihuahuan Desert. The base community includes several post facilities serving the tens of thousands of soldiers and their families stationed at the installation. El Paso's urban area surrounds the main post area, with White Sands Missile Range adjacent to the ranges in New Mexico. The Chihuahuan Desert terrain at roughly 3,700 to 4,500 feet elevation characterizes the installation landscape. Three courses on the installation serve the military community.
