Golf in La Porte

La Porte is a city in southeast Harris County on Galveston Bay near the San Jacinto Battleground, part of the Houston Ship Channel industrial and residential corridor. The San Jacinto Monument, commemorating the 1836 battle where Texas won independence from Mexico, is one of the tallest monuments in the world and is located at the Battleground site. The Houston Ship Channel industrial corridor runs along La Porte's northern boundary, with petrochemical facilities alongside the residential neighborhoods. The flat coastal plain terrain of southeast Harris County and the Galveston Bay shoreline define the community's setting. One course serves the La Porte community in the coastal plain of southeast Harris County.
