Golf in Grey Forest

Grey Forest is a small incorporated city in northwest Bexar County, one of several small independent communities in the suburban-rural fringe northwest of San Antonio. The community has a Hill Country character in the cedar and limestone terrain at the edge of the Edwards Plateau, northwest of Loop 1604. Grey Forest and the surrounding northwest Bexar County area are experiencing growth as San Antonio has expanded outward, but maintain more of a rural character than the denser suburban zones. The limestone hills and cedar woodland of the Edwards Plateau edge define the landscape. Two courses serve the Grey Forest and northwest Bexar County area in the cedar and limestone terrain.
