Golf in Helotes

Helotes is an incorporated city in northwest Bexar County at the boundary between the San Antonio suburban area and the Hill Country, known for John T. Floore's Country Store, one of the longest continuously operating country music venues in Texas, where Willie Nelson has performed regularly for decades. The community has a Hill Country character in the cedar and limestone terrain of northwestern Bexar County and serves as a gateway to the Hill Country communities beyond the city. The Helotes Creek and the Leon Creek drainage provide water features in the limestone terrain. One course serves the Helotes community in the cedar and limestone terrain of the Hill Country fringe.
