Golf in Leon Valley

Leon Valley is a small incorporated city in northwest Bexar County adjacent to the northwest San Antonio suburban area, one of the small independent communities that occupy the urban zone within the larger city. The community is home to Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort facilities and has both residential and resort commercial character. The Leon Creek drainage runs through the area and provides the valley topography that gives the community its name, in the limestone terrain on the edge of the Edwards Plateau northwest of San Antonio. The northwest Bexar County corridor along Loop 1604 and US 90 West has developed as a commercial and residential zone serving the northwest San Antonio population. Leon Valley is adjacent to the main San Antonio city limits and functions as a small incorporated enclave within the metropolitan area. One course serves the Leon Valley community in the limestone and cedar terrain of northwest Bexar County.
