Golf in Junction

Junction is the county seat of Kimble County in the Texas Hill Country, located at the confluence of the Llano and South Llano Rivers. The city is in the heart of the deer and turkey hunting country of the central Hill Country, at the junction of I-10 and US 83. Kimble County is one of the sheep and Angora goat ranching counties of the Edwards Plateau, with clear spring-fed rivers and limestone canyons. South Llano River State Park provides camping and birding access in the cypress and pecan-lined river bottom. Junction is approximately 100 miles northwest of San Antonio. One course serves this small Hill Country community in the limestone plateau terrain.
