Golf in San Pedro

San Pedro is a small community in Cameron County in the Rio Grande Valley, part of the Harlingen-Brownsville corridor in southern Cameron County near the Rio Grande. The lower Rio Grande Valley's flat, subtropical terrain has the characteristic irrigation canals, citrus agriculture, and subtropical vegetation of far south Texas. Cameron County is the southernmost county in Texas, and the communities along the US 77 and US 83 corridors in southern Cameron County are part of the larger Rio Grande Valley metropolitan area. The Rio Grande forms the international border nearby, and the binational character of the Valley community is a defining feature of the area. One course serves the San Pedro and surrounding southern Cameron County area in the flat subtropical terrain.
