Golf in Wolfe City

Wolfe City is a small community in Hunt County in northeast Texas, in the post oak and Cross Timbers transition country between the north Texas Blackland Prairie and the East Texas timber region. Hunt County is centered on Greenville, the county seat, and is in the transition zone east of the main DFW suburban area. The post oak savanna and Cross Timbers terrain of Hunt County has sandy soils and the characteristic vegetation of the transition between the open prairie and the deeper East Texas forest. Wolfe City is a small agricultural community in the rural portion of Hunt County, accessible from Greenville via US 69. The community is approximately 70 miles northeast of Dallas. One course serves the Wolfe City community in the post oak terrain of Hunt County.
