Golf in Rowlett

Rowlett is a city in Dallas County and Rockwall County on the north shore of Lake Ray Hubbard, a community that has developed as a residential suburb accessible to the Dallas employment centers along the I-30 and SH-66 corridors. Lake Ray Hubbard provides water recreation and a lakefront residential appeal that has attracted growth along the northern shore. The community sustained significant damage during the December 2015 tornado outbreak, and substantial rebuilding and recovery followed. Rowlett is approximately 20 miles east of downtown Dallas, connected by SH-66 and the DART rail system. The terrain of the Lake Ray Hubbard north shore is gently varied in the Blackland Prairie zone. One course serves the Rowlett community in the terrain along the north shore of Lake Ray Hubbard.
