Golf in Woodway

Woodway is a small city in McLennan County adjacent to Waco on the west side, a residential community in the upscale western Waco corridor. The community maintains an independent residential character within the broader Waco metropolitan area, in the terrain above the Bosque River drainage and the Lake Waco reservoir. The Carleen Bright Arboretum, a botanical garden and nature center, is in Woodway and serves the Waco metropolitan area. The western Waco suburban corridor along SH 6 has attracted upscale residential development in the limestone terrain above the Bosque River. Lake Waco provides water recreation nearby, and the Waco metropolitan area's amenities—including Baylor University's cultural events—are accessible from the community. One course serves the Woodway community in the limestone terrain of western McLennan County.
