Golf in Bountiful

Bountiful is one of the oldest communities on the Wasatch Front, settled in the first wave of pioneer migration into Davis County in the 1840s. The city spreads from the valley floor up the eastern bench, where residential streets climb toward the Wasatch Range above. Named with deliberate optimism by early settlers who found the land productive after the arid desert crossing, Bountiful lives up to its name in terms of mountain access — Bountiful Peak Road climbs to over 9,000 feet, connecting to the Skyline Drive ridge. The Great Salt Lake is visible to the west on clear days, and the bench position above the valley gives Bountiful a vantage point that makes its golf course one of the more panoramically situated municipal tracks on the Wasatch Front.
