Golf in Farmington

Farmington is the seat of Davis County and one of the older communities on the Wasatch Front, though Lagoon amusement park — established in the late 19th century — gives it a distinctive recreational identity within the county. The city spans from the valley floor to the mountain bench, and the Farmington Canyon corridor leads to the Skyline Drive ridge above. Station Park, a modern outdoor shopping center near the FrontRunner commuter rail station, has added a contemporary commercial layer to what was once primarily a government and agricultural community. Oak Ridge Golf Course occupies the hillside terrain east of Station Park, above the valley floor in the shadow of the Wasatch Range.
