Golf in South Salt Lake

South Salt Lake is a small incorporated city entirely surrounded by the larger Salt Lake metro, positioned south of Salt Lake City proper between Murray and Millcreek. The city's small footprint — less than four square miles — constrains what can be built within its boundaries, but it holds three of the area's more compact golf facilities. Forest Dale and Nibley Park are Salt Lake City-operated 9-hole courses within South Salt Lake's boundaries, providing neighborhood-scale golf for a densely urban area. Central Valley Golf Course adds a third short-format option to this compact cluster. TRAX light rail runs through South Salt Lake, connecting residents to the broader metro.
