Golf in Elk Ridge

Elk Ridge is a small Utah County city on the elevated bench above the Payson area, at the southern end of the main Utah Valley corridor. The community sits on terrain that rises above the valley floor, with views down toward Utah Lake and north to Mount Timpanogos. Elk Ridge is characterized by large residential lots and a semi-rural character, distinct from the denser development farther north in Provo and Orem. The city is named for the wildlife that historically populated the oak brush and juniper hillsides above the valley — terrain that still supports mule deer, turkey, and the occasional elk in the foothills above residential streets.
