Golf in Fillmore
Fillmore has 1 golf course — 1 public — topped by Paradise Golf Resort at 6,304 yards.
Fillmore is the seat of Millard County and holds the distinction of being Utah Territory's first capital, a status that ended in 1856 when the government relocated to Salt Lake City. The Territorial Statehouse, built in 1852 and 1855, still stands and functions as a state monument. Fillmore sits on I-15 about halfway between Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, in the high desert of central Utah where the Pahvant Range rises to the east. The town is small and serves primarily as a rest stop for I-15 travelers, but the Territorial Statehouse and Paradise Golf Resort give it something more than highway-service identity.
