Golf in Delta

Delta is the seat of Millard County and the largest town in a sparsely populated stretch of west-central Utah, surrounded by the basin-and-range terrain of the Great Basin. The Sevier River runs near town, providing irrigation for the region's farming operations in an otherwise arid environment. Delta is known for the Topaz Mountain area to the west, a rockhound destination, and for its proximity to the Topaz War Relocation Center, where Japanese Americans were incarcerated during World War II. The city's remoteness — well over an hour from the nearest significant urban center — means its golf course is not a destination facility but a genuine community asset.
