Golf in Taylorsville

Taylorsville is a Salt Lake County city that incorporated in 1996 from what had been unincorporated county territory in the mid-valley corridor. The city covers a compact area of dense residential and commercial development between Salt Lake City and Murray, and its creation as an incorporated city gave local residents more control over land use decisions. Two golf courses — Meadow Brook and Fore Lakes — serve the local population in a city where available land constrains additional development. Both are operated through the Salt Lake County golf system and serve a catchment that extends into adjacent Murray and Midvale.
