Golf in South Weber

South Weber is a small community straddling the Davis-Weber county line adjacent to Hill Air Force Base, in the corridor between Layton and Ogden. The city's identity is shaped by the base's proximity — Hubbard Golf Course at Hill AFB provides golf for military personnel and authorized guests, while Sun Hills Golf Course serves the broader civilian community. The base has defined the demographic and economic character of the surrounding communities for over seven decades. The Weber River flows near the city's southern edge, and the Wasatch Range rises sharply to the east, giving South Weber a more geographically defined setting than the flatland communities to the west.
