Golf in Cave Creek

Cave Creek is a small community in north Maricopa County known for its western heritage character, cowboy culture, and the numerous bars and restaurants with a rustic western theme along Cave Creek Road. The community has a more rugged and casual character compared to the polished resort atmosphere of Scottsdale to the south, attracting visitors seeking a different experience in the Sonoran Desert north of the main Phoenix Valley. Cave Creek's terrain is more rugged than the flat desert of the main Valley, with desert washes, saguaro forest, and the Cave Creek Regional Park providing outdoor recreation. The community has attracted a mix of full-time residents and second-home owners, with significant equestrian and outdoor recreation communities in the desert terrain. Five courses serve the Cave Creek community in the north Maricopa County desert terrain.
