Golf in Naco

1 golf course in Naco, Arizona.

Naco is a small border community in southeastern Cochise County at the Arizona-Mexico international border, adjacent to Naco, Sonora, on the Mexican side. The community is a minor border crossing in the rural borderland terrain of southeastern Cochise County, in the high-desert grassland country east of Sierra Vista. Naco's location in the open grassland terrain of the Sulphur Springs Valley area at roughly 4,500 feet elevation gives it a different character from the lower desert communities, with the semi-arid grassland terrain supporting cattle ranching. The Turquoise Valley Golf Course is one of the notable golf facilities in the southeastern Arizona borderlands, drawing golfers from the Sierra Vista and Fort Huachuca area. One course serves the Naco community in the high-desert grassland of southeastern Cochise County.
