Golf in Sierra Vista

Sierra Vista is the largest city in Cochise County in southeastern Arizona at roughly 4,600 feet elevation, adjacent to Fort Huachuca and in the high-desert grassland terrain of the Huachuca Mountain foothills. The community is primarily an Army garrison city, with Fort Huachuca's large military and civilian workforce driving the local economy and defining much of the community's character. Sierra Vista is also a significant birding destination, with the nearby San Pedro Riparian National Conservation Area and the Ramsey Canyon Preserve attracting birdwatchers to the diverse bird habitat of the southeastern Arizona sky island terrain. The Huachuca Mountains to the west provide forested high terrain above the grassland valley community. One course serves the Sierra Vista community in the grassland terrain of southeastern Cochise County.
