Golf in Arvin

Arvin is a small city in Kern County at the southern end of the San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Bakersfield in the valley's agricultural zone. The city sits at a low elevation in the Arvin-Edison area, where groundwater and surface water support intensive agriculture on the flat valley floor. Kern County's southern San Joaquin Valley produces citrus, vineyards, and field crops, and Arvin is surrounded by this agricultural landscape. The city serves as a commercial center for surrounding farm operations and agricultural workforce. Highway 58 runs to the north connecting the area to Bakersfield, and county roads link Arvin to surrounding communities.
