Golf in Blackhawk

Blackhawk is a private gated community in Contra Costa County near Danville, in the lower foothills of the Diablo Range east of the San Ramon Valley. The community occupies hill terrain at the base of Mount Diablo, with residential development spread across the foothill landscape above the valley floor. Contra Costa County's foothill communities near Danville include several affluent residential developments in the Diablo Range foothills. Blackhawk has two golf facilities within the gated community. The area is accessible via Blackhawk Road from the main Danville commercial corridor. The surrounding terrain consists of grassland and oak woodland on the Diablo Range lower slopes.
