Golf in Coronado

Coronado is a city in San Diego County on a peninsula connected to the mainland by the San Diego-Coronado Bridge and a narrow isthmus, across San Diego Bay from downtown San Diego. The city occupies a flat peninsula that separates San Diego Bay from the Pacific Ocean. Naval Air Station North Island occupies the northern portion of the peninsula and is a major Navy installation. The Hotel del Coronado, a large resort hotel on the ocean side, is a prominent landmark in the city. The main downtown area on Orange Avenue provides restaurants, retail, and services. The beach on the Pacific side of the peninsula is a public beach accessible to visitors. The Coronado Bridge provides vehicle and pedestrian access to San Diego.
